Last weekend was awesome. As you already know if you read this, I went back home for graduation. I went to a ton of parties, graduation ones and just get-togethers with "the group". I got to introduce Derek to a ton of people and he really like everyone and I think they liked him too which makes me happy!! May Term is winding down. Classroom Management has been awesome- Mrs. Dusing is always buying us hot chocolate and bringing us popcorn, and is even taking me and Derek out to eat on Thurs. English Lit on the other hand has been rough. Three hours of lecture- ugh. Thursday me and Derek are coming home after class. We're skipping class Fri and taking our tests early. Friday we will be leaving for Kearney, MO for Memorial Day weekend. From there I will leave for my job on the trian for the whole month of June! I'm excited, but a little nervous and kinda sad to be gone for so long. I won't be coming back til the 4th of July. Derek will be going back home with my family and staying in Milbank til next Thurs working at the Milbank bball camp and staying at my house without me. So if anyone is in town and wants to give him a call one of those nights, I'm sure he will be pretty bored. And plus it's his bday next Wednesday! Well that's all I have to say...so...bye.

for what it's worth...

so two weeks ago i had by far the worst week since i've been here at trinity. everyday something new went horribly wrong. it was really rough. that weekend emmy had a party for keri coming home. i found out about this only a week beforehand, and i had been planning for 3 weeks to bring derek, matt, colby, bekah, and mo back just for a day to chill at my house and watch movies and stuff. and so now i hear a lot of ppl are upset because i didn't come to emmy's party. for what it's worth i'm sorry. after that week at school all i wanted to do was lay on my couch and not move and not even think about anything. and it would have been slightly akward to show up at emmy's with 5 people no one knew. so i'm sorry if some of you think i don't want to hang out with you anymore, but there's a lot more than you know. i guess i don't know what else to say...

These last few days have been considerably better than that of my last post. They've actually been really good. Yesterday started out by me not having class til 12:30 cause there was no chapel and my first class was cancelled. I had a lot of extra time to get ready so I tried to make myself look really cute and a lot of people noticed and told me I looked nice! And then I got a really good grade on a test in by far my hardest class. Then me and Derek went to supper at our friends Noah and Jenni's house. Supper was good (minus me spilling juice everywhere) and we watched Along Came Polly afterwards. After that me and Derek walked back to the dorms and decided we wanted Icees and peanut M&Ms so we drove all the way to Aberdeen just to get some. We sat in the Econo Foods parking lot for like an hour just eating them and talking. It was so much fun, Derek is the best b/f ever! He is so sweet and just awesome. But no worries...Trinity's meet, fall in love, get engaged, get married all in one year plan isn't for us, for those of you that KEEP ON ASKING...even tho I am with the greatest guy here :).

So this should satisfy all of you who keep telling me I need to write more. More to come tomorrow...

School is kind of going down hill. I'm getting really sick of it. I'm getting really sick of Ellendale. Don't get me wrong, I still have fun, but I'm just not as happy here as I was before. Hanging out with Mo and Bekah and just being with Derek are pretty much the only things I like about here anymore. I just want this semester to be done. Ugh.

The last month has been absolutely crazy. I feel like I came to college to play basketball. I sometimes forget that class is the main reason I'm here. I'll admit, my priorities have changed a lot this semester. Last semester I worked hard for my 4.0. Now as long as a get a high enough GPA to keep my scholarship I'm satisfied. Today was our last bball game. I don't know what I'm going to do now that bball is over. But I guess I should give a quick re-cap of what went down the last month...which will probably only involve bball since that's pretty much all I do. Two weekends ago we went to the Regional Tournament in Cananda, which decides what team goes to the National Tournament. I hate Cananda. It is effing hell frozen over. It got down to -27 while we were there during the day. As far as the games went, the first game we won by 40, I had a double double and got player of the game. The second game we lost to North Central by 8. It was rough. BUT our guys won both of there games and qualified for nationals!!!!!!! It was SOO awesome. So over Spring Break I will be in Oklahoma City, OK watching the boys play at nats. I'm so excited! Anyway, this weekend was the Conference Tournament. Yesterday we beat AFLBS by about 20. I got player of the game again which was sweet cause my mom, dad, brother, and sister were there. Then today we played Providence for the 3rd time this season. We ended up losing by 4. It was a really tough loss, especially for the last game of the year. We ended the season off being 15-15. 5 of those losses were to NAIA or NCAA schools, 3 of the other ones were by 4 points or less, and 3 others were to the 1st and 2nd ranked teams in the nation. So I guess our season wasn't quite as bad as our record shows. I'm sad that bball's over, but at the same time glad for no more practice. The last few weeks I have just been so tired and I just can't shake it no matter how much sleep I get. Right now my entire body is sore. I'm sore in place I didn't even know could get sore. And I am completely and utterly exhausted. I just want to sleep for an entire week. On that note I'm going to end. If anyone actually reads this and wants me to continue posting let me know, otherwise I think I'm just going to stop. Going to pass out for a week now...
